TalkCampus is a 24/7, anonymous peer support community exclusively for students. It combines peer-to-peer support with professional safeguarding and moderation, plus access to partner-provided counselling and helpline services when students need more — all accessible across 26+ languages.
Students can access TalkCampus through the iOS app, Android app, or web app. We support SSO for frictionless sign-in with existing institutional credentials, or students can sign up using their college or university email. If your students don't have institutional email addresses, contact us and we'll find the right access option for your setup. Your institution will also receive onboarding materials and a launch guide.
TalkCampus is exclusively for students at partnered institutions. Users must verify their student status with a valid university or college email address, which keeps the community safe and relevant.
Yes. TalkCampus welcomes students of all ages. Our community is diverse and inclusive, and mature students are an important part of our global community.
It depends on your requirements. Some institutions are up and running in a matter of days, while more complex setups involving SSO, white-labelling, or multi-campus rollouts can take a few weeks. Our team handles the technical side and provides a full communication strategy to help you launch to your student body.
No. TalkCampus is designed to complement and extend your existing services, not add to their workload. By providing 24/7 peer support and early intervention, we help students get support before issues escalate, often reducing the burden on institutional counselling services.

TalkCampus can bolt directly into these frameworks and signpost students to your existing SAP provider when needed. TalkCampus is moderated 24/7 by our Trust & Safety team who review all content, supported by AI that flags potentially harmful content for human review. We have robust content moderation and escalation protocols to identify users who may need additional support and ensure student safety at all times.
TalkCampus is not an emergency service. However, our 24/7 Trust & Safety team monitors all conversations and has protocols for identifying and supporting users who may need help. Yes. TalkCampus has a 24/7 Trust & Safety team that monitors conversations and intervenes when needed. Students also have access to a partner-provided helpline for additional support. The core experience, though, is peer-to-peer: students supporting students.
I-CARE is our safeguarding and escalation framework used by the Trust & Safety team to identify and support at-risk students. It stands for Identify, Connect, Assess, Respond, and Evaluate, ensuring every student in distress receives the right level of care.
Because TalkCampus is a global community, there are always students and trained peers online regardless of the time zone. Our Trust & Safety team also operates 24/7, ensuring there is always professional oversight.
When our AI flags content that may indicate a user needs support, our Trust & Safety team reviews it and follows the I-CARE safeguarding and escalation framework. GovRAMP (Government Risk and Authorization Management Program) is a cybersecurity framework that helps state and local governments ensure cloud service providers meet rigorous security standards. TalkLife is a GovRAMP member enrolled in the Progressing Security Snapshot program, with our platform assessed against NIST SP 800-53 security controls. This includes regular independent assessments, monthly compliance check-ins, and continuous monitoring. TalkCampus is listed on the StateRAMP Product List as a Progressing participant. Our Peer+ Buddy Programme trains students to be peer supporters on the platform. TalkCampus is built so students using assistive technologies and keyboard-only navigation can complete core journeys across our iOS, Android, and web apps. For web, we align with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as published by the W3C, and we continually improve semantics, contrast, focus behaviour, and compatibility with screen readers and other assistive tech as the product evolves.
